Returns PolicyAll goods sold via www.costplusit.com come with the benefit of the manufacturer’s warranty. Returns for faulty goods will be accepted as long as Customer Services are informed within 5 days of despatch, subject to the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty. Some manufacturers operate a day one return to manufacturer policy, which will be advised to you by Customer Services. If faulty goods are to be returned , a RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorisation) number must be obtained via Customer Services. The RMA is valid for 7 days only. A collection will be arranged and the goods must be available for collection in their original packaging together with all accessories and manuals. Unauthorised returns will not be collected. (Please ensure that all data is backed up as we cannot be made responsible for lost data). Where goods are returned outside the DOA period and the fault is verified, the goods will be repaired under the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty. If the incorrect product has been ordered, www.costplusit.com may at its discretion allow for the items to be returned, if they are unopened, unused and in perfect condition. Customer Services must be informed within 5 days of receipt of the goods. There will be a minimum charge of 15%, subject to a minimum charge of £20 and £9.95 collection charge. Refused deliveries and unauthorised returns will not be credited until a RMA is issued, only where applicable. All goods must be checked on delivery, as we cannot be held responsible once the goods have been signed for. Where a product has a serial number, this must be reported prior to a RMA being raised. In the event where the serial number does not match the serial number of the product shipped, it will be returned immediately and no credit will be raised. Product is faulty?All products are sold under the warranty specified by the particular manufacturer in question. The refund or replacement of products is strictly to individual manufacturers Dead On Arrival (DOA) policies. If it is established that your product is faulty, our Customer Services department will arrange to collect the product and for a replacement product or refund to be issued. Warranty RepairIn the case where it is established that Goods are faulty or defective in line with the individual manufacturer's warranty, most warranty repairs will be carried out on a return-to-Company basis. All parts and labour charges will be waived but the Customer is responsible for ensuring that the Goods are returned in their original packaging, or if this is not available, in a stout carton with high density foam providing at least 150mm clearance surrounding the entire product so as to ensure safe transit and ease of identification. In some instances the manufacturers warranty requires the Customer to contact the repair agent directly. If this is the case, the Customer will be informed by our customer service department. TestingIf products are returned to us because of a fault, the product will be tested upon receipt. If no fault is found, the product will be returned to you. If a hardware fault is found (recognised as such in accordance with the manufactures terms) and the applicable manufacturers DOA period is exceeded, then the product will be repaired under the terms of the manufacturers warranty |
